I would also recommend that you overclocked the Ryzen 3 1200 CPU, which on the stock wraith stealth cooler, should be able to get you in the 3.7GHz to 3.8GHz range. However, it still provides us with good performance for the price.Large capacity hard drives are still nice and cheap, like this 2TB drive from Hitachi.For the RAM in the build, we’re going to take advantage of the dual channel capabilities of Ryzen 3 and give it some fast RAM to run with in this 3000MHz kit.
As I mentioned above, I’m aiming for this build to be more of a beginner’s build. The only saving grace for Intel here is slightly better gaming performance out the box; however once overclocked (something you can’t do with the similarly priced Intel i3 chips), the Ryzen CPUs close that to an almost non-existent gap.Finishing off the build is the Antec One. We used the shell of an Acer Aspire M5621 so this case only supports a mATX motherboard. It’s more likely that a consumer purchasing this will be likely to do an upgrade to an existing system, so we tested that scenario for practicality. I have done M.Tech in IT and B.E. They also still make new motherboards that are compatible with it.I’d recommend the 1300X.
