I have to say, that is my FAVE house ever in the movies.Oh wow – I cannot believe they built all of Iris’ stuff in 2 weeks! I have you on my faves I would’ve never known that – how interesting! The set designers did a beautiful job of making Mill House feel like a home where children live. They can come spend winter in our snowy town & we can go to their warm house. !I totally want that poster in his study!Wow, so interesting to see all the work it takes to create a cottage that I truly believed was so old and charming. Suggestions: The cabin from On Golden Pond and Michael Jordan’s home in Space Jam…Oh and all the sets from You’ve Got Mail. The Holiday is a movie I can watch over and over again. I didn’t know that. !That scene with the “fairy-tale tent” totally reminded me of the tent scene in the nursery from “Hook”! It looks pretty impressive. It stands on one of London’s best streets. I’m addicted to this blog! It has five bedrooms and looks out over Hampstead Heath. I loved all the houses in this, and I am so sad to hear the house is just a shell, what a wonderful home it would have made! Thanks for the wonderful post…I enjoyed reading it!Love it! One of my all time fave interiors is Meg Ryan’s apartment in PRELUDE TO A KISS.
Im watching The Holiday, perhaps you have some information about the restraunt Graham took Amanda to.May I suggest {if you haven’t already covered} the Napa estate and London townhouse from the Parent Trap with Lindsay Lohan? Jude Law is at the centre of a row after police were called by neighbours over a party at his north London home. If they used this for both interior and exterior shots, the speed at which they constructed it would be phenomenal! Just kidding. Jude Law’s House in “The Holiday” The Entry Hall and Staircase. -JuliaMan, that is cool. I love how that can just throw up a set in a few days!Julia: I just wanted to thank you for posting Jude’s “house” from The Holiday. And I’d just like to add that I enjoy reading everyone’s comments.

I hope to build one like it for my daughter soon. -JuliaI wonder if the cottage they built is still standing, and if so, are people living in it? Thanks so much!! I was thrilled to see you posted it here!

Great set design.

https://www.dailystar.co.uk/showbiz/jude-law-joins-crowd-new-18711147 Love Movie Monday’s!I would love to see the house from “The Family Stone.”I love that movie. The Darling house, the Lost Boys’ treehouses, Tink’s clock apartment, Hook’s ship… oh, they’re all so good!! This is the English actor Jude Law's home, located in the exclusive Maida Vale area of London.

Would love to see more detail if you can dig it up!

ACTOR Jude Law has moved into his £15million bachelor pad on London’s exclusive “Stella Street”.The film star moved into the swanky neighbourhood last week after spending four years gutting the property. I’d love to switch houses with someone someday. As far as I could tell from the research I did on “The Holiday,” all of the interiors were sets on soundstages, and the exteriors were real places (except for Iris’s cottage, which they built the shell of).You guys are giving me lots of great ideas for future posts. ?It is so nice to know that I am not the only one who is crazy enough to watch movies for the featured homes!
