The added weight is also nice, but we did like it without the weight in place for most of our use.Inside of the cover is where the optional weight is designed to fit. Advanced button tensioning helps keep the left and right mouse buttons primed to click, reducing the force needed to click and delivering exceptional click feel, response, and consistency.Give it purpose—fill it with books, DVDs, clothes, electronics, and more.Tracking Resolution: 200 – 12,000 dpi.G403 Prodigy is equipped with the same wireless technology as the award-winning G900. As to the ARM microprocessor, it uses a 16-bit channel for communications, offers a 1000ms report rate even while wireless, signals at 2.4GHz while in wireless mode, and is a 32-bit MCU which is more than capable for the G403. Prodigy’s incredibly optimized 2.4GHz wireless connection is lag-free for responsiveness that outperforms the competition’s solutions, including wired ones. However, this shouldn't matter much if you're looking for a gaming mouse for your home setup. The Logitech G403 Wireless isn't designed to be an ultra-light gaming mouse. You can easily set your preferred performance and lighting settings. The left and right buttons are also separate, which adds to the enhanced consistency for exceptional click feel and response. With rubber grips on the left and right sides to give you added control, the G403 was made to mold to your hand for long-lasting comfort during gameplay. Played Quake for over 17 years, reviewed over 50 mice, and these are at the top. The rest of that time we were able to go about life without any strings attached, and even when it came time to need to be attached to the cable, we replenished the battery in right around an hour's worth of time. No matter how minute the adjustment we made, the sensor read exactly what we intended it to, and had us spending much less time going back over things that may have been missed with other mice. The optical sensor used is specific to Logitech as far as we are aware, and is the Pixart PMW3360DM. It's flexible and doesn't create too much drag when using it. This is beneficial for wireless mode so that you can turn off the mouse as the red is indicating, or push the switch forward to display a green sticker and turning the mouse on. It's well suited for most cases but isn't the most portable mouse. What could've happened is the mouse lost it's connection completely with it's receiver. It's comfortable to use for long periods although it's not the lightest mouse. The fingertip grip isn't recommended for people with medium-sized hands or smaller. The G logo on the heel is brightly illuminated, and at the right angle, so is the center strip of the scroll wheel. Inside of the box, you will find the mouse, a charging slash data cable, a wireless USB adapter, a cable adapter, a 10-gram options weight, and the user documentation. In the power section, you see a battery icon on the left with the amount of life left to give displayed.
