I am saying this as developer who has extensions on Opencart's marketplace and his extensions on Prestashop has been disabled due to no interest of the users. It's incredibly accessible to new users. IMHO - Prestashop is better than Opencart on how they handle the modifications . These two platforms provide you a basic dashboard that contains some basic built-in features to manage your store.
