Not sure if there are others out there that has the same laptop that experienced what I did. I appreciate all your help. I have RACE Communication router made byI just got Dell Inspiron 3583 with QCA9377 802.11ac wireless adapter 12.0.0.817 but having issue connecting to 5G, when I look at the router modem it is on 802.11n not 802.11ac and for some reason it will not run at 5G. I want to run at ac mode but it will not let me switch from n mode. I updated the driver and the update took my connectivity to internet away, so I had to roll back on the driver and I am able to connect only at slow speed since again its stuck on 802.11n. My other devices all connects flawlessly with ac, but not this Dell. I spent several days with Dell tech and they could not fix my issue, they said its Windows Issue. I spent time with my provider and not their issue either since everything else connects flawlessly. How satisfied are you with this reply? So my next step was to return the computer back and I did and exchanged for same model and got home and fired it up, but still wont work again. Its stuck on 802.11n and will not go to 802.11ac, it's really frustrating. Please help me!!
