Skullcrawlers, also known as Cranium Reptant, are giant reptilian daikaiju created by Legendary Pictures that first appeared in the 2017 film, Kong: Skull Island, as the primary antagonists. It is surrounded by carved stone reefs, made to resemble faces crying out in anger and pain, and is crisscrossed by an enormous stone wall and covered with jungle-swallowed ruins that are countless generations old, which are all that remain of an unknown, ancient human civilization (possibly Mu) that somehow once existed and thrived on Skull Island.Each has its own unique collection of species that continuously fight with each other.The tangled jungles of Skull Island were, without doubt, the most impressive forest complexes on the planet.

Swarming silver flashes of fish shoals, numbering in the thousands, wound like underwater trains through the boughs of wet-footed forests. At least a thousand years ago they were wiped out, leaving little behind but stowaway rats and the stone skeletons of their city on a doomed island. It is based on the same island of the same name from Peter Pan.

All kinds of organisms – plant, animal, or something in between – twisted around and through each other in a savage dance for survival.
