The PlayStation Studios brand is clearly being rolled out just in time for the launch of the PS5, where first-party, and therefore exclusive titles will play a major role in securing hardware sales.
The company renamed its first-party studio’s group from Microsoft Studios to Xbox Game Studios in 2019. All Sony games will fall under this moniker. Sony has dropped a bit of news regarding the future of its PlayStation exclusive titles.
