Once she graduated from recruit to field agent, she broke Division rules by falling in love with a civilian, to whom she became engaged and planned to run away. She is also often seen as taking charge of torturing a recruit or others if needed, such as she does to Nikita. She ordered a strike team to take him down.


After the deaths of Percy, Ryan, and Carla, she became the last surviving co-founder and former Director of Division. She killed everyone in the control room of the compound and was going to launch the Pakistani nuclear weapons to US targets, but Nikita killed Amanda after she was shown to be beyond reasoning and appeal. Nikita would later on be rescued by Michael and Amanda would be forced by Sam to honor her agreement with him.
