The lake is located near the towns of Granger, Texas and Taylor, Texas in Williamson County. The camping spots accommodate RVs or tents. Nice Corps campground and lake Granger has several campgrounds. This review is for the trails and bridges that I was there to photo. Granger Lake is a lake near Taylor TX about an hour NE of Austin. Camping at Granger Lake . The San Gabriel Wildlife Management Area offers a one-lane boat launch for jon boats and canoes only. There are a few screened shelters. This is a very nice no spacious campground with very level paved pads, nice covers pavilions by each campsite with a picnic table and charcoal grill. All have nice level pads with water and electric.
