If you go within a few days after it rains, expect there to be mud a half a mile in. The trail has great views of Saguaro Lake.Beautiful hike along the coastline of the lake. A little bit of elevation but very easy to manage. Also at Butcher Jones, there is an easy to moderate hiking ‘Trail 463’, where you can backpack your iSUP, and hike for approximately 30 minutes (or longer if you choose) to discover a beautiful cove. After your hike, you can go for a swim or kayak around the lake.
