It’s Friday and you have a baby shower Saturday. I think it does embarrass my husband a little, but really isn’t leopard a neutral? Nice pad to change a baby on. I use to crochet when my oldest (10) was a baby but it hurts my wrist so I can't crochet for long but that is a project I could probably complete.I have fleece that I don't know what to do with now I know!
Watch for a sale.I love these blankets!! Maybe it's around a dishcloth or sweater.
I have a serious weakness for anything animal print… Its almost embarrassing. Fasten off and weave in any ends.Thank you so much for your crochet borders for fleece blankets.
Create a single crochet in each knitted stitch along the bottom edge of the scarf. I do love it for blankets, though.Today, I will teach you how I crochet not only straight edges, but also smooth edges.
Each time you hook in you're going to try and catch a loop at the top of the edge as you work so that your single crochet doesn't appear too deep down in the crochet fabric. You can make it any size, just cut your fleece as desired. And believe it or not, it is actually very easy and you will never believe the difference it makes. Attach an edge by simply sewing it onto the fabric. It seems to help a great deal, even on items that have edging crocheted after finishing the body of the item… I never liked the gaps visible when doing single crochet in really lumpy sides.Well, today is your lucky day. But there is one thing that always drove me crazy and that is that the edge, although mainly straight, was not smooth. I ended up buying 3/4 a yard and getting 2 blankies out of it. This is a decorative crochet border that creates a dramatic ruffled edge. Other options: blanket stitch the fabric, then crochet into the stitches. thank you so muchI LOVE this!!!! That seems awfully small for a blanket. Insert your crochet hook and single crochet (sc) 1. Furthermore, they usually clarify whether or not to count that turning chain as a stitch. If you love this smooth edge crochet tip as much as I do, please use the social media share buttons above or below and share this pattern link with the world and your friends. To make it clearer, I also created a video tutorial that will teach you how to crochet a smooth edge for single crochet and half double crochet.
I am on a budget crunch (trying to pay our mortgage off early) and it seems to me everyone is having a baby So this is a GREAT cute/easy/cheap gift idea! If possible, crochet directly into the fabric if using fine cotton.
